Component Demo

This component allows you to render images and text on a button. There are six positions such a caption can have:

• Normal, when the mouse is not pressed and the mouse pointer is outside the active area.
• Over, when the mouse is not pressed and the pointer is inside the active area
• Pressed, when the mouse is pressing inside the active area.
• Visited, when the caption has been clicked at least once and is outside the area. The caption acts similar to an HTML link.
• Visited Over, when the mouse is not pressed but inside the already visited caption.
• Visited Pressed, when the mouse is pressed inside the visited caption.

The CaptionView bean can resize the images according to the full size of the active area, or can simply use the image without changing its dimensions. The caching is done using ImageCache class which prevents any web-related errors to alter the quality of the display.
